Through 945 AM edt (845 AM cdt)...areas of fog...locally dense... Will continue across east Tennessee...southwestern Virginia...and parts of southwestern North Carolina. The fog may reduce visibility to between zero and one half of a mile at times...especially in low lying areas near lakes...streams and rivers. Areas that received the heavier rains on Wednesday...will also be favored locations for these areas of dense fog. The fog should give way to mostly sunny skies by late morning...but will hinder early morning rush hour traffic. Drive slowly and be extra cautious if you encounter foggy areas.
