Tornado watch until 8 PM along and east of a Decatur...Granbury... Hearne line... The remnants of tropical storm hermine will continue moving north through the Texas Hill Country this evening...then into the low rolling Plains around Abilene before daybreak. This system will continue to spread showers of light to heavy rain...and a few thunderstorms...across much of north Texas through late evening. Also...isolated tornadoes remain possible through 8 PM. Some of the heaviest rainfall is expected to fall over the southwest counties...generally southwest of a Stephenville to Cameron line...through 9 PM. Rainfall amounts in excess of 2 inches may fall by late evening,..and flooding issues may develop. A flash flood watch remains in effect along and west of a line from Hearne...to Ennis...to Sherman and Denison.
